Dr. Khan graduated from medical school at the University of Leeds (United Kingdom) in 2015 and received his degree in Bachelor of Medcine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). He has since worked in multiple specialities throughout his training to gain a breadth of knowledge that can be effectively applied to treat patients as a family doctor. Dr. Khan is eager to embark on a new phase in his career by moving to Winnipeg, where he will utilize his skills, gained across primary and secondary care working with multiple teams, to design innovative ways of delivering patient care.
Dr. Khan explains, “I love being a doctor. As a family doctor my aims are to recognise and treat illness in a holistic manner, encompassing all aspects which may be impacting patient health to reach a shared management plan.”
In his spare time, Dr. Khan enjoys travelling and spending time with his family. He looks after his health by going to the gym, as well as playing basketball and badminton regularly.
Other than English, he is fluent in Hindi and Urdu.
